Snorre Kirk drums, Jan Harbeck tenor saxophone, Calle Brickman piano, Anders Fjelsted bass.
After soaring on the European jazz scene as a sideman with some of the finest names on the Scandinavian jazz scene today, and working with prominent international names such as Diane Schuur, Eric Reed and Stephen Riley, in recent years has seen inter-Scandinavian drummer Snorre Kirk appear as a full-fledged artist and composer in his own right.
Snorre Kirk's debut album in 2012 was awarded the prestigious JazzSpecial Award in Denmark for Album of the Year, and received two nominations in the Danish Grammy Awards. The drummer had to show off his capacity as a composer and bandleader.
With the release of Tangerine Rhapsody, which presents an electric mix of exotic rhythms and vibrant, colorful compositions, Snorre Kirk has realized his most personal and ambitious to date.
At present, an audience ceiling of a maximum of 100 people applies.
