In concert halls around Sweden, Norway and Finland, the audience is invited to a powerful and enchanting concert with a strong message in Jon Henrik's unique way. It will be a musical journey that is a tribute to the earth and nature we live in. The traditional yoik is mixed with music from artists such as Leonard Cohen, Eva Cassidy, John Lennon and more.
After the breakthrough in Talang, three strong contributions in the Melodifestivalen, success in Lets Dance and Stjärnornas Stjärna, over 70 million streams on Spotify, Jon Henrik is now taking the step into several of Scandinavia's finest concert halls.
“As a Sami, being able to take the yoke into the music's fine room that a concert hall stands for feels incredibly inspiring. For me, nature is more important than ever and the foundation of all life, which I want to pay tribute to with this tour. The yoke as a form of expression will always be closest to my heart, but there will also be music that fits both in the concert hall and that pays homage to Mother Earth, says Jon Henrik. ”
The tour begins in Jakobstad, Finland on January 22, later on the Sami National Day on February 6, he takes over the Oslo Concert Hall. In addition to these, there will be another 10 stops before the tour ends in Helsinki's fantastic concert hall in March.
