The Glenn Miller Orchestra pays tribute to no less than 14 of the biggest bands of the swing era: Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James, Artie Shaw, Charlie Barnet, Duke Ellington, Larry Clinton, Count Basie, Gene Krupa, Les Brown, Cab Calloway and Woody Herman.
In addition to the Glenn Miller Orchestra's own hits and songs, the Glenn Miller repertoire includes several songs from other famous big bands.
Glenn Miller Orchestra Scandinavia was formed in 2010 and plays under license from Glenn Miller Productions, Inc., New York. USA. The orchestra tours regularly in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland and is internationally regarded as the foremost of the four orchestras in the world with rights to use Glenn Miller's name and perform the music from the original arrangements. The orchestra, which originates from Stockholm, is led by trombonist Jan Slottenäs and includes several younger musicians from Sweden's jazz elite.
