Together with Komet Agency, Storsjöyran presents KLUBB3N - the evening when the ancient Old Theater changes its appearance into a raucous, sweaty and absolutely wonderful rockabilly club! Two of the genre's most celebrated bands visit Östersund, and in between local rockabilly heroes Turkey Twisters (who recently celebrated 45 years as a band!) are turning vinyls.
Through many years of constant touring, eight studio albums and recurring placements at the top of the Swedish album charts, the John Lindberg Trio has built its fanbase the old fashioned way. Still, the band continues to steadily shift gears.
With their modern take on classic rock n' roll that also contains influences from blues and country, the band has cemented their role as Sweden's uncrowned rockabilly kings. Today they have an ever-growing following, not only in Scandinavia, but also in countries such as Germany and the USA. With a newly released album, they are now visiting Östersund for the first time since 2012!
Andy & The Rockets combine today's rock sound with inspiration from blues-based rock and more recently influences from bands such as Foo Fighters and Volbeat. This is not least reflected in the latest release "GHOST TOWN". Included on the album is the single The Day Our Music Died, one of the most played radio songs in the fall of 2022 with several weeks on the Svensktoppen and a win in P4 Nästä. Live, Andy and the Rockets are loud and sweaty but also stylish, well-produced and genuine.
