The Saxon Quartet Rollin 'Phones was founded in 1986 and has since been an important part of Swedish music life. Over the years, members have been replaced and Neta Norén (baritone saxophone) is the only remaining original member. The group is a versatile chamber music ensemble with a focus on art music and the repertoire ranges from classic standard works and transcriptions to works of contemporary composers.
An exciting and entertaining concert program is being offered this time with music by Leonard Bernstein, Pullitzer Prize winner Jennifer Hig-don, Bach celebrity and composer David Maslanka and the great champion J.S. Bach.
Rollin ’Phones has been touring in Sweden, Europe, USA, South America and Asia for over 30 years. The group's high artistic level, their unique scenic charisma, the very well-composed programs and the program presentations during the concert make the quartet so much appreciated and popular! Do not miss!
