For the third year in a row, Östersunds Cykelklubb is organizing a competition in the ESS on Frösöberget. This time, the start and finish area has been moved to Lövsta to get as close to the competition area as possible. However, the competition itself remains in the same place. The courses 2020 will bring the best of previous competitions, with the addition of some new courses.
The competition will be held on Östberget on Frösön with Lövsta, which is right next to the slopes. Östberget is 466 meters high with a fall height of 148 meters and holds two slalom slopes, exercise tracks and loads of trails used frequently by the city's cyclists. From the top of the Frösötornet there is a breathtaking view of the city to the east, the mountains to the west and Storsjön all around.
On the day of the competition, 7 different routes will be offered, with a total of about 1,000 vertical meters. The competition distances will be a mixture of natural, steep and rooted paths and hand-dug flowy paths. During the competition, there will also be a compulsory depot stop at the competition center in Lövsta for the participants.
